Owner & Founder
Mack Gouge founded Team 7 Racing in 1974. While his success on the blacktop is impressive, it’s his impact in the boardroom that helps sponsors realize a return on their motorsports investment. As the president of Southeastern Cabling Contractors, Mack brings a blueprint of quality and organization to race preparation and sponsorships.
Dave Elliott
Road Racing Driver
Dave Elliott pilots the GT-2 Camaro in S.A.R.R.C. and Trans Am series. With over four decades of motorsport achievements, Dave is a multi-time SCCA National Champion in Formula 440 and has competed in ARCA, USAC Formula 2000, and NASCAR Late Model Series.
Jeremy Ellis
Drag Racing Driver
Jeremy Ellis runs the 4.70 Quick Outlaw Series Corvette. Starting his drag racing career at just 14 years old, Jeremy quickly dominated the drag strip, capturing ORSCA World Series Championships in 2007, 2008, and 2009 with multiple sub-5 second 1/8th mile runs.
Clay Young
Driver & Crew Chief (RIP)
Clay Young (1947–2014) had over 33 years of racing experience as both driver and crew chief. He was a two-time IMSA Kelly American Champion, US LEC Stock Car Road Racing Champion, and NASCAR Winston Cup driver. His guidance remains a pillar of Team 7 Racing history.
